In this hands on, experimental workshop, we will explore new ways of working with a variety of studio materials. Jazz will guide you through a series of techniques, as we create a working journal full of color charts, mini trials/demos and experiments to document your progress.  Are you starting a new project and would like to use some new materials but want to try them out first? Would you like to play with a bunch of art supplies before you invest in your favorites? Trying to accomplish a certain "look" or achieve a specific "effect" but are unsure what to use or how to do it? Come on, I'll help, it will be fun!!

Please bring a sketchbook or journal. I prefer ones with watercolor paper because they are a little tougher and hold up to all the stuff I throw at them but any old sketchbook will do. Journals…
